As an expectant mother or father, you know how precious and important "ultrasound day" is for you as parents. This once in a life time opportunity is something that is cherished forever. What makes this so special are all the factors that support a family's decision to have this amazing service done.
This is a really simple campaign.
For those of you who believe that having an elective ultrasound performed by a credible facility should be YOUR choice and not the choice of a politician or any other political figure, then you are invited to sign this petition.
It's that simple.
This campaign is designed to do 2 things:

Protect the rights of expectant mothers to choose whether they want to have this amazing services done from a credible ultrasound imaging facility.

Continue our campaign to educate the public and politicians that there are credible elective ultrasound facilities operating at standards that address FDA and other governmental and society concerns.
So show your support by signing this petition AND emailing Governor Jodi Rell of Connecticut. Tell all your pregnant friends about this site. Fight for your rights and don't let them be taken away from a politically overdriven politician who simply offers uninteligable reasonings to pass a law just because it threatens their politics. Let them know that this is the type of government control that is not welcome.
Ask yourself this question:
If an ultrasound session is performed by our nation's RDMS (Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) whether at a ob/gyn office, clinic, or credible elective facility then what makes ultrasound safe at one place and not at another?
Answer: Only those facilities not operating at the industry's highest standards and guidelines. But don't assume that every facility falls into this category and don't shut down a respectible industry and abolish companies, jobs and most of all an expectant mother's and her family's right to benefit from one of the most amazing aspects of her pregnancy.
